On Sunday, Austria's most successful winter athletes were honoured as part of an ORF "Sport am Sonntag Spezial" broadcast. With a breathtaking view of the old town of Salzburg, all World Cup medal and ball winners of the Austrian Ski Association once again looked back on the very successful 2020/21 season.

There were 22 World Championship medals, eleven of which were gold, and ten World Cup crystal balls for the ÖSV stars to celebrate in the past World Championship season. Among the honoured athletes were Nordic Combined World Champions Johannes Lamparter and his Team Sprint partner Lukas Greiderer and Team Event bronze medallists Lukas Klapfer and Mario Seidl.

On the terrace of the M32 restaurant on Mönchsberg, the successful winter sports enthusiasts once again answered questions from ORF presenters Karoline Rath-Zobernig and Oliver Polzer. On the part of the Austrian Ski Association, ÖSV President Peter Schröcksnadel presented Philharmonic gold coins to the red-white-red figureheads.
