3 Questions for Chulpan Valieva

Chulpan Valieva is part of the Russian Nordic Combined team. The 20 year-old took part in the FIS Junior World Ski Championships in Oberwiesenthal (GER) and Lahti (FIN) and participated in 11 Continental Cups.

Who is your role model in sport?
Ole Einar Bjørndalen is my role model.
If you weren't a Nordic combined athlete, what profession would you have choosen?
I dreamed about a career in biathlon, but I hadn't opportunities to train in this sport unfortunately. Otherwise, I would've liked my profession to be related to tourism, because I love to travel and to learn new thing.
What is your favorite movie and book?
My favorite movie is "Lion". I also like our Russian movies "The Girls" and "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears" a lot. My favorite story is "The Little Prince", but I also enjoy reading books about sports physiology.
