Gyda Westvold Hansen also proofed her dominance during the Continental Cup season opening in Lillehammer (NOR) today.

The Norwegian was already in the lead after the Ski Jumping round on the HS98 in the morning, with the furthest jump of the day on 97 meters (137.1 pts).

Second place after jumping went to Anne Häckel from Germany with 92.5 meters (118.5 pts), 56 seconds behind Hansen.
Rank three was taken by Austrian Annalena Slamik (89 m, 117.9 pts), who went into the 5km course 1:17 min after the Norwegian, together with Ida Marie Hagen (90 m, 117.8 pts), also from Norway.

During the historic competition, in which the women opened the new Nordic Combined Continental Cup season for the first time, Hansen remained unassailable at the top.

The 20-year-old confidently took the victory ahead of her teammate Hagen (+1:38.9 min), who advanced to second place and secured her best Individual result at a COC competition.

While Slamik lost her spot on the podium and ended up falling back to 5th place (+3:10.3 min), French Lena Brocard convinced with a strong performance on cross-country skis and completed the podium in 3rd place (+2:27.3 min), for the first time in her career.
