The Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup returns to Oberstdorf (GER) from 3rd - 5th February, 2023.

The last time a Nordic Combined World Cup was held on the Schattenbergschanze and in the Ried cross-country stadium was in January 2020. Back then, Jarl Magnus Riiber from Norway, who will not be on start this year, reached the top of the podium in the Individual competition.

Therefore, all eyes will be on Austrian Johannes Lamparter, who was crowned TRIPLE champion in Seefeld last weekend and has nothing but positive memories of Oberstdorf. At the FIS Nordic Ski World Championships 2021, the youngster claimed the World Champion title in the Team Sprint and on the large hill.

With the men's competitions also being held on the HS 137 this weekend, Lamparter will try to repeat his good performance from the past and defend his yellow bib as Overall World Cup leader.

Meanwhile, local heroes Vinzenz Geiger and Julian Schmid, who both have World Cup victories in their pockets this season already, want to achieve a top ranking in front of their home crowd in Oberstdorf.

Jens Luraas Oftebro found is strength again in Seefeld and is the favorite from Norway, while current Best Jumper and blue bib owner Ryota Yamamoto from Japan can prove his skills on the large hill with another impressive flight.

Schedules and the Event Program can be found in the FIS Calendar.
