Gyda Westvold Hansen is the winner of the women’s first World Cup competition in Seefeld (AUT).

The Norwegian dominator was already in the lead after the Ski Jumping competition on the Toni Seelos hill in Seefeld (AUT) this morning.

In light snowfall the Norwegian jumped the furthest distance of the day with 100.5 meters (122.2 pts) at the HS 109 and took the lead. Therefore, she was the first one to start into the 5 km at the WM Arena this afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to Nathalie Armbruster from Germany, who landed at 95.5 meters (114.3pts) and went into the course 31 seconds after the Overall World Cup leader.

Annika Sieff (95 mts, 112.4 pts) placed third, 39 seconds behind Hansen.

Hansen kept her lead through the entire race and reached the finish line first, securing her 6th World Cup victory of the season.
Meanwhile, Sieff couldn’t keep up with Armbrusters high speed and had fallen back (+51.8 sec) at the 2.5 km intermediate point.
Ida Marie Hagen (+1:08 min) slowly worked her way up to the top, after being 11th after the Ski Jumping part.
The Norwegian overtook Sieff with her strong skiing performance, fully focused on the podium.
While Armbruster secured the second place +25.7 seconds behind Hansen, Hagen came in third, 56.4 seconds behind.
