Seefeld (AUT): Hansen wins women’s Provisional Round

The Provisional Competition Round for the Women’s first FIS World Cup in Seefeld (AUT) took place today under sunny conditions. 
27 athletes from nine nations were on the Start List for two training jumps and the PCR afterwards.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Gyda Westvold Hansen with 108.5 meters. With 131.4 points the Norwegian Overall World Cup leader took the lead and secured the victory of the PCR.  
Rank 2 was taken by Italian Annika Sieff, reaching 99 meters and 119.5 points. 
Local hero Lisa Hirner from Austria (98.5 mts, 114.2 pts) placed third.

The former Ski Jumper Svenja Würth from Germany reached the second furthest distance of the day with 104 meters, but couldn’t stand her jump and fell. With 101.9 points she fell back to 12th place.
