Nathalie Armbruster won her first FIS Summer Grand Prix competition in Tschagguns (AUT) today.

The German was already in the lead after the Ski Jumping round, after a disqualification from Gyda Westvold Hansen.

20 athletes from 8 nations took part in the Ski Jumping competition round on the HS108 in Tschagguns (AUT) today.
Due to difficult wind conditions, the start of the competition had to be delayed by 45 min.

After the wind calmed down, Nathalie Armbruster took the lead during the women’s competition round with a jump on 93 meters (117.1 pts).
Therefore, the German was the first one to start into the 5km rollerski race in Partenen (AUT) this afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to her team mate Jenny Nowak, who landed at 91.5 meters (114.1 pts) and went into the course 12 seconds after Armbruster. Silva Verbic (93.5 mts, 112.6 pts) placed third, 18 second behind the leader.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Maria Gerboth with 97 meters, the German collected 106.6 points and took the 7th rank overall.
PCR winner Gyda Westvold Hansen (95 m, 132.1 pts) was disqualified due to an irregular suit and had to follow the race as a spectator.

Armbruster managed a start-to-finish victory on the rain-soaked track. The 16-year-old confidently defended her lead against her pursuers and reached the finish line after 13:30.3 min. Jenny Nowak also held her position and finished second, 25.4 seconds behind her teammate. Lisa Hirner fought her way up from 7th place after Ski Jumping and finished the race with a 3rd place for Austria (+32.5 sec).

Ema Volavsek keeps the yellow bib for tomorrow's final, but her lead in the overall standings shrank through a 5th place today (+37.4 sec) to just 5 points, so that the battle for the overall Summer Grand Prix win tomorrow will be particularly exciting.
