SGP: Yamamoto secures PCR win in Oberstdorf

Wrong bib, but right performance for Ryota Yamamoto (c) FIS

The victory of today’s PCR in Oberstdorf (GER), went to Ryota Yamamoto from Japan.

For Official Training and the PCR, 58 athletes from 14 nations were on start on the HS137 in the Audi Arena. 
Due to difficult wind conditions, the training had to be delayed to 18:15 CET and only one round took place. 
Under blues skies, but changing conditions the current owner of the blue bib as Best Jumper, Ryota Yamamoto coped particulary well. With a jump on the furthest distance of the day on 134 meters (165.3 pts) the Japanese took the lead and kept it until the end.

The second rank went to Franz-Josef Rehrl from Austria, with 131 meters and 152.9 points. 
Ilkka Herola (125 mts, 146.7 pts), the current overall Summer Grand Prix leader from Finland, placed third with 125 meters and 146.7 points.
