Joanna Kil is the winner of the women’s Continental Cup Individual Compact competition in Klingenthal (GER).

After the Ski Jumping part on the Vogtlandschanze HS 85, Jenny Nowak was in the lead.
The German reached the furthest distance of the day with 78.5 meters (63.3 pts) and took the lead. She was therefore the first one to start into the 5km cross-country race in the afternoon.

Rank 2 was taken by her team mate Sofia Eggensberger with 73 meters and 99.4 points. Due to the fixed starting times, she placed 6 seconds behind Nowak.
Tia Malovrh (72.5 m, 96.4 pts) from Slovenia placed third, 12 seconds behind.

With a strong cross-country performance Joanna Kil celebrated her first COC victory, after being in 5th place after Ski Jumping.
It was also the first Polish victory in women’s Nordic Combined.

Eggensberger (+12.2 sec) narrowly defended her position with an exciting finish sprint and took the second place, ahead of her German team mate Marie Nähring (+12.9 sec) on rank three.
