The new season traditionally begins on July 1st and it is a very special one!

The International Ski Federation was founded on February 2nd, 1924 in Chamonix (FRA) and will therefore celebrate its 100th anniversary this winter.

For Nordic Combined, the anniversary season begins as usual with the Summer Grand Prix, which shines with highlights this year and is adorned with two world premieres.

With Oberwiesenthal (GER), Oberstdorf (GER) and Villach (AUT), the world's best Nordic Combined athletes will visit three well-known venues to hold a total of nine competitions.

Oberwiesenthal kicks off on August 26 and 27, with an Individual Gundersen for both genders and the world premiere of the Mixed Team Sprint, in which one woman and one man from one nation compete together.

The second stop is Oberstdorf with two Individual Gundersen events, which are held as the popular Night Race on the city course.

The final will take place in Villach, where all fans can look forward to another world premiere in addition to two Individuals.
For the first time ever, the eagerly awaited Nordic Combined Compact format will be held before the Overall winners 2023 are crowned in Villachs Alpenarena.

All Event Programs can be found in the FIS Calendar.
