Joanna Kil is Overall COC champion 23/24

Joanna Kil from Poland is the Overall winner of the FIS Nordic Combined Continental Cup 2023/24.

Due to the cancellation of the final events in Klingenthal (GER) because of snow conditions, that were scheduled for March 1st  – 3rd, the competitions in Eisenerz (AUT) were the last of this season.

Kil collected a total of 550 points in 7 Individual events taking place from December 2023 until February 2024. 
The 23-year-old placed 5th and 4th at the opening in Lillehammer (NOR) in December 2023, followed by the first COC victory of her career in Klingenthal (GER) in January 2024, as well as placing second twice there.
A 3rd rank as well as a 5th place at the last competitions in Eisenerz (AUT) brought her the lead in the Overall ranking ahead of the Germans Sophia Maurus (352 pts) and Marie Naehring (333 pts).

Kil is the first Polish Overall winner in the history of Nordic Combined and will receive her medal at the World Cup finals in Trondheim (NOR) in the end of March.
