Ida Marie Hagen is the winner of the women’s first Individual Gundersen in Otepää (EST).

Haruka Kasai was in the lead after the Ski Jumping competition on the Tehvandi HS 97 at noon.

In sunny conditions the Japanese jumped 96 meters (118.4 pts) and took the lead. Therefore, she was the first one to start into the 5 km cross-country race at the Tehvandi stadium this afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to Svenja Würth from Germany, who landed at 95 meters (114 pts) and went into the course 18 seconds after Kasai.
French Lena Brocard (96.5 mts, 110.8 pts) placed third, 30 seconds behind the leader.

The furthest distance of the day was reached by Mari Leinan Lund with 97.5 meters, who touched the snow after landing and lost valuable points, ending up 5th, 36 seconds behind the Japanese.

Once again Ida Marie Hagen proofed her cross-country strength during the 5km race today and skied up to second position, already at the 1.2 km mark, 9 seconds behind Kasai.
The Overall World Cup leader closed the gap to the Japanese before entering the stadium and took the lead after 2.5 km.
Meanwhile, the pursuer group consisting of 6 athletes, including the Germans Jenny Nowak and Svenja Würth, Lisa Hirner from Austria and the Norwegians Gyda Westvold Hansen and Mari Leinan Lund tried to catch up to the leaders.
Hansen started an attack on the last uphill, pulled a gap to her opponents, but was still 33.7 seconds behind her team mate at the front, that managed to bring 8.8 seconds between herself and Kasai.

Despite the cold temperatures, Hagen delivered the fastest skiing time once again, securing her 6th World Cup victory, ahead of Kasai (+20.9 sec) and Hansen (+29.8 sec) on rank three.
