Jarl Magnus Riiber is the winner of the men’s second Individual Gundersen competition in Schonach (GER) and also secured the Overall victory in the WIRmachenDRUCK German Trophy.

The Norwegian was already in the lead after the Ski Jumping competition on the Langenwaldschanze HS 100 today.

In front of the cheering spectators, the Overall World Cup leader jumped the furthest distance of the day with 103.5 meters (148.2 pts) and took the lead. Therefore, he was the first one to start into the 10 km race at the Wittenbachtal stadium in the afternoon.

Rank 2 after jumping went to his team mate Joergen Graabak, who reached 103 meters (140.2 pts) and went into the course 32 seconds after Riiber.

Stefan Rettenegger (101 mts, 138.3 pts) placed third, 40 seconds behind the leader. He started the race together with his brother Thomas Rettenegger (101 m, 38.1 pts) who was also 40 seconds behind.
Franz Josef Rehrl reached 103.5 meters like Riiber and collected 133.7 points, placing 5th.

Just like yesterday, Riiber was unbeatable on the cross-country track and ran a lonely race at the top, comfortably defending his lead until the finish line.

Also Joergen Graabak kept his position and reached the finish line 33.2 seconds after his team mate.
Stefan Rettenegger (+53.5 sec) followed their example and defended his third place until the end of the 10 km cross-country race, completing the podium on rank 3.

With his victory Riiber is also the winner of the WIRmachenDRUCK German Trophy, ahead of Rettenegger and Graabak.
