The first big Ski Jumping spectacle of the winter can take place: On Tuesday, all four organizers gave the green light for the 67th 4-Hills-Tournament from December 29th to January 6th in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck, and Bischofshofen.

"We have enough snow at all four venues and are already started with the preparation of the hills", explains Johann Pichler, president of the 4-Hills-Tournament.

Also in Oberstdorf, where the first event will be held, the preparations are in full gear. "The cold nights last week came right in time and so we can prepare the hill perfectly during this week before Christmas", says Dr. Peter Kruijer, chairman of the organizing committee in Oberstdorf.

The enthusiasm for the 4-Hills-Tournament continues. In Oberstdorf, only tickets for the qualification are still available and the demand is also high at the other venues. "The advance sale is going as well as never before", says Michael Maurer, chairman of the organizing committee in Partenkirchen. After the opening event in Oberstdorf, the fans cheered on the world's best ski jumpers also in a sold-out stadium at the New Year's competition last year. This winter, the organizers expect a total of more than 100 000 fans at the competitions.

Tickets for the events at all four venues are available at tickets.vierschanzentournee.com
