The opening event of the 68th 4-Hills-Tournament is more popular than ever. The tickets for the competition on December 29th are already sold out before the start of the Ski Jumping World Cup season in Wisla (November 22 - 24). Tickets are still available for the qualification on December 28th.
"The popularity is absolutely amazing, the demand for tickets is getting higher year by year", says Dr. Peter Kruijer, chairman of the ski club in Oberstdorf and head of the organizing committee.
Dr. Kruijer and Floian Stern, CEO of the "Skisprot- und Veranstaltungs Gmbh" also expect lots of spectators for the qualification on December 28th. Last year 15500 fans came to the stadium in Oberstdorf to see the qualification, this means that the attendance there was higher than at some other World Cup competitions. "Tickets for the qualification will definitely still be available at the box office on the day of the event", Stern points out. On the day of the competition, the organizers expect 25000 fans in the arena.
Tickets for the qualification in Oberstdorf as well as for the events at the other three venues Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen are available on the website of the organizer at www.vierschanzentournee.com.
