There is a change of the coaching staff of the national team of the Czech Republic right in the middle of this season.

Due to the results this winter, the Czech Ski Association has now decided that head coach David Jiroutek will be replaced by Antonin Hajek. The 32-year-old, who ended his career as an athlete in 2015, was the assistant of Jiroutek and shall now coach the team until the end of this season.

Best Czech this season so far is Roman Koudelka, who is currently 26th in the overall World Cup and whose best result this winter is the eighth place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Last weekend in Predazzo, the 30-year-old finished 14th and eleventh.
Besides Roman Koudelka, Viktor Polasek is the only other Czech ski jumper who could score World Cup points this season.
