There will be an additional competition at the Ski Jumping World Cup final in Planica (SLO).

"Together with our friends from Planica, we will finish an equally successful and challenging winter season 2020/2021 with 4 Ski Flying competitions from 25.3 - 28.3 in Planica.
To the three originally planned competitions (two individual and one team), an individual competition (replaces the individual competition from Vikersund, March 21) will be added on March 25. We thank the OC Planica for this additional competition.
Since the beginning of the season in Wisla (POL), we have successfully completed 26 out of 26 World Cup competitions in difficult conditions.
Unfortunately, despite intensive efforts in the past few days, we have not succeeded to replace the RAW AIR Tour, which was canceled in Norway due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the related travel restrictions. So there will be no men's World Cup competitions on the two weekends 13-14 March and 20-21 March", explained FIS Race Director Sandro Pertile.

The Ski Association of Slovenia noted: “The Ski Association of Slovenia has made in the past days a huge effort to enable additional competitions in ski jumping in Planica, after the cancellation of the Raw Air Tournament in Norway. The Covid-19 pandemic has made it even harder to secure the additional funding of all events by our sponsors. We have been in close contact with a number of protentional partners, which would give us the opportunity to get sufficient financial impact to organize the additional events. In the end, we have agreed together with FIS, that we are able to secure one more competition on the ski flying hill in Planica on Thursday, March 25th, 2021, during the previously confirmed FIS ski jumping finals. So Planica will be the host of three single competitions and one team event.”
