Anders Fannemel tore his ACL in summer 2019, now the Norwegian was finally able to make his first jumps after a very long break.

"It was exciting to jump again and it was good to finally start again. It went very well", said Anders Fannemel, who actually planned on returning to the hill already last August. "Back then it did not go as planned and I needed another minor surgery. After that, I felt better and better and I was able to do more and more training. Last week I found out that it would be possible to try to jump again this week. There was no reason to wait any longer."

His coach Thomas Lobben was satisfied with the comeback of the former Ski Flying world record holder: "The conditions were perfect to start jumping again. Anders made three jumps on the 90 Meter hill, the longest one was about 90 m. The inrun speed was not high, because the distance was not important today. I think it was a very good start."
