As the sports newspaper L'Equipe reports on Monday, Heinz Kuttin will become the new head coach of the French men's Ski Jumping national team.

Together with the Austrian, the French Ski Association wants to build a young, competitive team around Jonathan Learoyd and Mathis Contamine in the long term.

"This is a big step for us. We have young athletes with a lot of potential, but so far we were not able to show that on the highest level. This is our problem. I think that Heinz is the person that can help us achieve this goal. This is a long-term project, we want to establish a World Cup team with four athletes. He liked this challenge and that's why he will be joining us", Jerome Laheurte of the French Ski Association is quoted on lequipe.fr.

Most recently, Heinz Kuttin was working with the Chinese women's team, previously he coached the men's teams of Austria and Poland.
