Marita Kramer was the best in the qualification for Wednesday's women's competition on the large hill in Oberstdorf on Tuesday evening. With a jump of 137.5 m, the Austrian won ahead of Slovenia's Ema Klinec and Sara Takanashi of Japan.

The final women's Ski Jumping event at the WSC on Wednesday will be a competition of Marita Kramer against the world. The Austrian is in fantastic shape and can probably only beat herself in the large hill competition.
The 19-year-old proved her dominance impressively today with her jump in the qualification: Her 137.5 m jump was by far the longest of the round this evening.

The new World Champion Ema Klinec came in second with 130 m, 7.5 m shorter than Kramer - that's a lot in Ski Jumping. Sara Takanashi showed that she is among the top contenders for the medals with her third place, the same applies to Katharina Althaus, who was fourth. "After the mixed team competition, it's now going really well and I regained self-confidence", Althaus said after her good performance in the qualification.
With Nika Kriznar and Maren Lundby in fifth and sixth, two more top favorites showed top jumps today, both also have to be reckoned with in tomorrow's competition.

The large hill competition, the first-ever for women at World Championships, will start on Wednesday at 5:15 pm CET.
