The Ski Flying World Championships 2024 will be held in Bad Mitterndorf. This was decided by the FIS Council today.

So Austria will host Ski Flying World Championships again in 2024. Originally, the Ski Flying Worlds 2024 should have taken place in Harrachov (CZE), but the facility in the Czech Republic does not have a valid FIS certificate and so competitions can't be held on this Ski Flying hill.

That's why the bid of Bad Mitterndorf to carry out the World Championships was successful. The last Ski Flying Worlds in Bad Mitterndorf were held in 2016, back then Slovenia's Peter Prevc and the team of Norway took the titles.

The next Ski Flying World Championships in 2022 will be held in Vikersund (NOR).
