COC-M: First win for Daniel Tschofenig

An athlete of the hosting team of Austria also took the win on day 2 of the Continental Cup in Bischofshofen (AUT). After Manuel Fettner won yesterday, Daniel Tschofenig claimed the top spot on Sunday.
The 19-year-old, who came in second on Saturday evening, posted jumps of 139.5 m and 142 m today and took his first-ever win in a Continental Cup with a total of 251.5 points.
Anze Lanisek of Slovenia jumped on 135 m in both rounds on the Paul-Ausserleitner-hill and finished second with 240.9 points.
Artti Aigro made it to the podium for the first time in his career today. The 22-year-old Estonian, who was in the lead ahead of Tschofenig after the first round, came in third with 139.5 m and 130.5 m and 239.5 points.
After his win yesterday, Austria's Manuel Fettner was fourth today. The fifth place went to Benjamin Oestvold of Norway, for whom this is the best result of his career so far. His two teammates Anders Fannemel and Fredrik Villumstad tied for seventh, just behind Austria's Ulrich Wohlgenannt.
The Top 10 today were completed by Mika Schwann of Austria and Germany's Richard Freitag.
Klemens Muranka of Poland had the most outstanding jump of the day with 148 m in the first round. The official hill record in Bischofshofen, held by Muranka's fellow countryman Dawid Kubacki, is currently at 145 m. With this performance, Muranka was third after the first round, he then came in eleventh overall.
Mika Schwann leads the overall ranking of the Continental Cup with 445 points, followed by Manuel Fettner (330 points) and Eetu Nousiainen (256 points). The next two competitions will be held on September 18th and 19th in Oslo (NOR).
