Women's 4-Hills-Tournament planned

The first women's 4-Hills-Tournament is hoped held in the 2023/24 winter season, the discussions are ongoing between the German and the Austrian Ski Association in cooperation with the officials of the International Ski Federation FIS.

All calendar planning are subject to the approval of the FIS Council.

The initial plan is to hold a women's Ski Jumping Tournament around New Year's with events in Germany and Austria. The time until the first competition of the women's Tournament shoud be used to solve the basic issues with all the stakeholders.

It is planned that the opening event will be held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the same day as the men's opening competition in Oberstdorf. The second women's event, the New Year's competition, shall take place in Oberstdorf.

It's still open how the Tournament will continue in Austria. The Austrian Ski Association is currently checking various options at the possible venues. According to the Austrian Ski Association, the women's Tournament shall be established as a top competition series, similar to the traditional men's 4-Hills-Tournament.
