54th victory for Takanashi
Sara Takanashi's records broken victory was her 54th, which will raise her all-time most wins achieved ski jumper. At the same time, it was her fifth victory in Oberstdorf. Sara Takanashi: "I'm very happy about my win today and proud of my 54th victory in World Cup. I still made small mistakes especially on my second jump, but at the same time, I was a bit lucky with weather conditions. We had good points today, so I hope our tomorrows jumping performances will lead us to to the nations cup victory."

Second place today was the third podium position this season for Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz: "I'm very satisfied with my second place today. I always like to jump in Oberstdorf, and I was happy to see so many fans. Sunny weather was amazing, but the conditions were a little tricky today. I look forward to tomorrows last competition of the season. My second jump was pretty good, and now I know what I need to do." She jumped longest jumps of the rounds, both 101,0 m.

Maren Lundby was third today, and she has been on the podium in each competition this season. Lundby: "Of course, I want to be higher on the podium. I think my jumps were good. Conditions were slightly changing today. It's nice to have some vacation, but at the same time, I enjoy competing so tomorrows last competition causes a bit mixed feelings."
