Ljubno (SLO) has been a permanent fixture in the Ski Jumping calendar for many years. The women make regular stops with the World Cup and the Continental Cup (new Inter COC) in the municipality located north-east of Ljubljana. In 2006 the first women's COC took place on the HS 94 hill in Ljubno.
The organizers are known for their dedication and commitment.
Now the municipality was hit by heavy floods, the damage in the whole region is immense.

Ski Jumps and sponsoring companies destroyed
"Our Ski Jumping hills were severely damaged by the floods and we have to rebuild them in time for the World Cup (27 & 28 January 2024). 60% of our sponsors' businesses were completely destroyed, and most of the others were partially damaged. The Ski Jumping Center and the World Cup competitions need urgent help," explained Rajko Pintar, President of the Organizing Committee in Ljubno.

While the catastrophic floods are no longer a topic in the media in most countries, the clean-up work has begun, and it will take a very long time Volunteers have already started rebuilding the Ski Jumps, now the organisers are hoping for financial help.
