This Sunday, 17 August, the Jumpin water ramp facility in Mettmenstetten, Switzerland, will welcome a strong international field for the 28th edition of the FIS Freestyle Masters – the opening stop of the Aerials Summer Grand Prix series.

While the summer competition has a more relaxed atmosphere than the winter World Cup tour, it’s still a great opportunity for some of the sport’s top names to stay sharp, try new tricks, and enjoy the lively Swiss summer setting.

The start list features a strong mix of home and international talent. Switzerland will be led by reigning World Champion Noé Roth and St. Moritz 2025 bronze medallist Pirmin Werner, alongside teammates Andrin Läber, Neville Erb, and Lino Wernli. Canada arrives with a powerful lineup including Lewis Irwin, Marion Thenault, and Alexandre Duchaine, while Ukraine sends a deep and competitive squad led by Dmytro Kotovskyi. Athletes from Germany, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Finland round out the field. Australia’s 2024/25 World Cup champion Laura Peel will also be in action, with Switzerland’s Lina Kozomara – bronze medallist in the Team event at the 2025 World Championships – aiming to shine on home soil.

The event also offers plenty off the ramp – from a family brunch and kids’ activities to autograph sessions and live entertainment – making it a fun summer outing for all ages.
