*These regulations are valid for all able-bodied disciplines. In the case of Para athletes, a CAS decision of December 2025 required FIS to allow participation in its events under the same conditions as those recommended by the International Paralympic Committee, that is, without the application of the FIS Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) framework.

Upon having been notified of the CAS decision, FIS proceeded to implement it, having publicly confirmed that Para athletes of Russian and Belarusian sporting nationality can compete under the circumstances recommended by the IPC, that is, without the application of the AIN framework.

This remains the applicable basis for the participation of Belarusian and Russian Para athletes in FIS events for the 2026/27 season.
