Stora Enso becomes Premium Partner at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2027

The Premium Partner collaboration in Falun 2027 marks the seventh time that Stora Enso will sponsor the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Stora Enso has previously served as the presenting sponsor for the events in Trondheim (2025), Planica (2023), Oberstdorf (2021), Seefeld (2019), and Lahti (2017), as well as the main sponsor in Falun (2015).
"Moreover, the fact that the upcoming games will take place in Falun, Sweden, where Stora Enso has strong presence and historic roots, makes this collaboration especially meaningful for us,” says Sohlström.
As Premium Partner at the Falun 2027 games, Stora Enso will contribute with renewable, wood-based and recyclable solutions to help create a sustainable world-class championship event. From wooden structures and catering products to sustainable prizes and giveaways, the goal is to demonstrate how renewable materials can replace fossil-based alternatives in large-scale events.
