Applications are open for the Val Gardena Coach Speed Clinic

Applications are open for the Val Gardena Coach Speed Clinic, which offers coaches hands-on experience on the snow to develop their skills.

As part of the Alpine Performance Series: Speed Excellence, the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) and the Federation of European Ski and Snowboard Associations (FESA) organize the clinic. Coaches will gain practical experience in preparing an Alpine Speed venue alongside guidance on safe and effective Alpine Speed training.

The clinic focuses on four key areas:

1. Safety installations

2. Course preparation

3. Course maintenance

4. Course adaptation

Taking place in Val Gardena, Italy, from November 26–29, 2026, the clinic will give coaches the opportunity to work alongside experienced experts as they prepare the venue for the upcoming FIS races.

The call for applications provides full details about the clinic, including participation costs and how National Ski Associations (NSAs) can nominate coaches. Participation is limited to eight coaches.

Apply before November 8, 2026. NSAs should complete a separate registration form for each coach they wish to nominate.
