FIS has completed its third carbon emissions report covering the organization’s activities in the 2025 calendar year and elite snow sports events in the 2025/26 season.
Once again, FIS has made its carbon footprint assessments more detailed and comprehensive. More complete data, for example, on purchased goods, has improved its organizational footprint calculations, while refined estimates provide a clearer picture of event emissions. In addition, as National Ski Associations (NSAs) increasingly adopt the FIS CO₂ Calculator, FIS is replacing a growing proportion of its estimates with reported data.
