Just before kicking off the 2026/27 winter season, FIS takes one last look back at a memorable 2025/26 season with the release of its annual report, the FIS Bulletin 2026.
This year’s edition opens with a foreword from newly elected FIS President Alexander Ospelt, reflecting on the recent elections and the closely contested result, and on what it means for the Federation moving forward. His message is clear: now is the time to come together and build FIS as one.
A Q&A with FIS Secretary General Urs Lehmann follows, offering his assessment of the past 12 months and his vision for the organization: a FIS that puts sport and athletes at its heart while embracing a strong, business-driven approach.
As in last year’s edition, the Inside FIS section provides insights from senior leadership across the Federation’s key strategic pillars: Finance, Media & Marketing, Sport, Sustainability, Development and Sports Integrity.
And no review of 2025/26 would be complete without looking back at an unforgettable Olympic and Paralympic season. With the Milano Cortina Games as its pinnacle, the year delivered memorable performances and moments across snow sports. The Season Review retraces the highlights and milestones across all FIS disciplines, celebrating the athletes and events that shaped the winter.
The FIS Bulletin 2026 is available in two formats:
A concise digital version for quick browsing: FIS Bulletin 2026

While the FIS Bulletin 2026 closes the chapter on a remarkable season, another exciting one is already beginning. The 2026/27 winter will put the spotlight back on the FIS World Championships, with Crans-Montana, Falun and Montafon among the major destinations set to welcome the world’s best in 2027.
A new season, and a new chapter for FIS, is ready to begin.
