Magdalena Kast (*1970) was elected to the FIS Council at the 53rd International Ski Congress in 2022.

She has been President of the Argentine Ski and Mountaineering Federation (FASA) since 2018. Prior to that she was Director of the Federation between 2014 and 2018 and Secretary from 2010 to 2014.

“Magdi” was formerly a member of FREM, Winter Sports Regional Federation in Rio Negro, as well as a member of the Executive Committee at Club Andino Bariloche.

She coordinated several seasons of the ski school of one of the biggest ski clubs in Argentina.

She has been responsible for many training programs and competitions all over the country for the past 15 years and has been a member of organizing committees hosting several international events in Argentina.

Representing the Argentine Olympic Committee (COA) she led and coordinated Argentinian delegations in several Winter Olympic Games (Lillehammer, Pyeong Chang, Lausanne and Beijing).

Magdi holds a Hospitality Management Degree and has worked for more than 25 years in the Meeting Planning and Hospitality Industry.
