Patrick Ortlieb

Patrick Ortlieb (*1967) is a former Austrian Alpine racer. He was the Olympic Champion in 1992 and a World Champion in downhill in 1996. After his sporting career he was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1999-2002.

In July 2010, Ortlieb was elected the President of the Vorarlberg Ski Association and held the position until 2019.

He was elected the Treasurer of the Executive Committee of the Austrian Ski Federation in 2021 and is a member of the three-part governing body of the OSV in this capacity.

A successful businessman, Ortlieb is the owner and CEO of tourism companies. He is also a on the Board of Ski Club Arlberg, which organizes various World Cup events. He is the founder of the Junior Race and permanent training center in Lech-Zurs.
