The Provisional Competition Round for the Men’s Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Oslo (NOR) took place in spring-like temperatures and a blue sky today.
 
55 athletes from 11 nations were on the Start List for two training jumps and the PCR afterwards.

Austrian Thomas Rettenegger reached 130.5 meters and secured the victory with a total of 129.7 points.
Rank 2 was taken by his team mate Johannes Lamparter with 129.5 meters and 126.1 points.
Overall World Cup winner Jarl Magnus Riiber (126 m, 125.8 pts) placed third.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Franz-Josef Rehrl with 132 meters (121.5 pts), who took fourth place.
With Martin Fritz (125 m, 116.4 pts) and Stefan Rettenegger (126.5 m, 114.4 pts) a total of five Austrians placed within the top 6, proofing their jumping strength once again.
