Hirner claims women’s first Grand Prix PCR

The Women’s FIS Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix got underway in Oberstdorf this evening with the Provisional Competition Round (PCR), held under clear skies on the HS137 hill. Sixteen athletes representing seven nations took part, completing two training jumps before the provisional round.

Austria’s Lisa Hirner soared the furthest with an impressive 132.5-meter jump. Earning 137.9 points, she secured the top spot and opened her summer campaign with a strong victory.

Germany’s Maria Gerboth followed in second place after a 122-meter performance worth 129.7 points. Finland’s Heta Hirvonen rounded out the top three, flying 126.5 meters and scoring 127.2 points for third.

The women’s Individual Compact competition – the official start of the FIS Summer Grand Prix 2025 – will take place tomorrow at 18:00 CET in Oberstdorf’s Orlen Arena.
