The Women’s FIS Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix continued this morning in Chaux-Neuve (FRA), where the Provisional Competition Round (PCR) was held under clear blue skies. A field of 18 athletes from eight nations lined up for two training jumps followed by the official round on the HS118 hill “La Côté Feuillée.”

Finland’s Minja Korhonen delivered the standout performance of the day. With the furthest jump of 108 meters and a total of 104.4 points, she took command of the leaderboard and secured the PCR victory.

Germany’s Maria Gerboth followed in second after reaching 104 meters, which earned her 100.3 points. Just behind her was Grand Prix Overall leader Nathalie Armbruster, who landed at 107 meters for 99.5 points to claim third place.

The home crowd had reason to cheer as France’s Romane Baud impressed with the second-longest distance of the day, 107.5 meters, placing fourth with 97.5 points.

The Women’s Individual Gundersen competition is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:45 CET.

The Men's PCR had to be cancelled due to the difficult wind conditions.
