Laate claims PCR victory in Seefeld
Jan 29, 2026·Nordic CombinedThe Provisional Competition Round (PCR) for the Women’s Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup was held on Thursday in Seefeld, Austria, under cloudy skies on the Toni Seelos HS109 hill.
A total of 32 athletes representing 11 nations were entered on the start list, completing one training jump followed by the PCR. The start of the session was delayed due to technical issues and challenging wind conditions, but competition eventually went ahead.
Norway’s Ingrid Laate delivered the standout performance of the day, soaring to 95.5 meters - the longest jump of the session. With a total of 103.9 points, Laate secured victory in the PCR and further underlined her strong form as the current leader of the Best Jumper Trophy.
Second place went to Alexa Brabec of the United States, who landed a 95-meter jump to earn 99.3 points. Austria’s Katharina Gruber rounded out the podium in third, jumping 92.5 meters and scoring 97.6 points in front of the home crowd.
Overall World Cup leader Ida Marie Hagen of Norway finished sixth, posting a jump of 88.5 meters for 87.5 points.
Attention now turns to the first competition of the Women’s Nordic Combined Triple, which begins on Friday at 11:45 CET with the 5 km mass start race.
