Rettenegger wins men’s PCR in Ramsau

The Provisional Competition Round (PCR) for the Men’s Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Ramsau (AUT) took place today in mild temperatures. A total of 60 athletes from 13 nations were on the start list, completing one training jump followed by the PCR.

Thomas Rettenegger delivered the longest jump of the day, soaring to 99.5 meters. With a total of 131.6 points, the Austrian claimed victory in the PCR on home soil.

Second place went to his Austrian teammate Franz-Josef Rehrl, who reached 94.5 meters and scored 130.4 points. Paul Walcher completed a strong Austrian top three, finishing third with a jump of 93.0 meters and 125.9 points.

The Austrian team’s dominant performance underlined their strength in Ramsau and set an exciting tone for the upcoming competitions.
