From August 27 to September 21, the world’s best Nordic Combined athletes will gather for the 2025 Summer Grand Prix — a fast-paced, fan-friendly series bringing ski jumping and roller skiing together across three iconic venues in Germany, France and Italy.

In total, nine competitions are on the schedule: six individual races for women and men (four Individual Gundersen and two Individual Compact), two Team Sprints and one Mixed Team event. It’s the last chance to see the stars in summer competition before the Olympic season begins, with Milano Cortina 2026 now just months away.

This year, the Summer Grand Prix comes with extra significance: the final stage in Val di Fiemme doubles as an official test event for the upcoming Winter Games, making it an early glimpse into what the Olympic action might look like.

Floodlights and big crowds: Oberstdorf will open the Grand Prix for the first time in 15 years (c) nocogirls

Oberstdorf (GER) – August 27

The Grand Prix kicks off in style under the floodlights in Oberstdorf with its much-loved Night Race. For the first time since 2010, Oberstdorf will open the series - and it’s doing so with a bang: two Individual Compact races in one evening, promising high-speed formats and thrilling chases. The compact style brings the ski jumping and roller skiing segments closer together in timing, giving fans non-stop action from start to finish.

Sunny Chaux-Neuve returns as a host for the second time (c) nocogirls

Chaux-Neuve (FRA) – August 30 & 31

Just days later, the series moves to the mountains of France for Chaux-Neuve’s second Summer Grand Prix hosting. Over two days, athletes will face two Individual Gundersen competitions and two Team Sprints, ensuring both endurance and teamwork get their moment in the spotlight. The vibrant French crowds and the intimate setting of the venue create an atmosphere that pushes athletes to their limits - and keeps the fans on their feet.

Val di Fiemme (ITA) – September 19–21

After a two-week break, the final stage heads to the heart of the Italian Dolomites for a three-day Nordic Summer Festival. Val di Fiemme, a long-time favorite on the winter circuit, returns to the summer calendar in spectacular fashion. This time, it carries special weight: the competitions serve as the official test events for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina.

The weekend will feature a Mixed Team event alongside the grand finals for both women and men. In true Val di Fiemme style, the action is split between two iconic venues – ski jumping in Predazzo and roller skiing in Ziano di Fiemme. Fans will not only witness thrilling races but also get a first taste of the Olympic setup.
