Stenzel takes Men’s PCR victory in Chaux-Neuve

Richard Stenzel (GER) came out on top in the Men’s Provisional Competition Round at the FIS Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix in Chaux-Neuve (FRA) this afternoon.

After rain in the morning, the conditions improved and 33 athletes from eight nations completed two training jumps before the PCR on the HS 118.

Stenzel, who wears the blue bib as Best Jumper, produced the furthest jump of the day with 113.5 meters. The German collected 115.6 points to take the lead and secure the PCR victory.

Iacopo Bortolas (ITA) followed in second place after reaching 111 meters and scoring 112.8 points.

Julian Schmid (GER) completed the top three with a jump of 108.5 meters and 111 points.

The first competition in Chaux-Neuve starts tomorrow with the jumping round of the Individual Gundersen at 12:30 CET.
