Marius Lindvik was the "man of the weekend" at the Continental Cup in Klingenthal (GER). The Junior World Champion, who is showing extremely consistent performances this season, also won the second competition in the Vogtland-Arena.

In once again difficult conditions on Sunday morning, the young Norwegians posted jumps of 140 m and 141 m and took his second win in a row with 282.6 points. The 19-year-old even remained calm when he had to wait for while before his final jump due to the wind conditions. Marius Lindvik has now won four times this COC-season and finished on the podium a total of ten times.

"It was a good weekend and I'm happy that I could jump on such a high level. I'm in a good shape and I can show my jumps", said Marius Lindvik.

The second place went to Poland's Jakub Wolny, who jumped on 128 m and 138 m and could improve his result from Saturday by one place with his total of 258.8 points.

Anze Lanisek of Slovenia was eighth after the first round with 132.5 m, he then moved up to third overall with a second jump of 134 m and 255.1 points and he was obviously satisfied afterwards: "I'm very happy. I think my jumps were good, despite the difficult conditions."

Norway's Halvor Egner Granerud finished fourth in this event, only the very small margin of 0.6 points behind the Slovene.  Andreas Wank was the best German today in fifth.

The two Austrians Ulrich Wohlgenannt and Philipp Aschenwald were second and third after the first half of the competition, but with their final jumps of 126 m and 119.5 m they fell back to the sixth and eighth place. Their teammate Manuel Poppinger finished seventh.

For David Siegel of Germany, the weekend in Klingenthal ended with a ninth place, followed by the second-best Pole on Sunday, Pawel Wasek (10th).

Marius Lindvik has now scored a total of 972 points and further extended his lead in the overall ranking. Nejc Dezman of Slovenia, only 19th on Sunday, is second with 869 points, closely followed by David Siegel in third with 868 points.

The Continental Cup now continues in Norway, where two competitions will be held in Rena on March 3rd and 4th.
