The ski jumping facility “Snezhinka” (en: snowflake) at Chaikovsky near Perm is affiliated to winter sports school at which 150 students are taught.

In 1980 the first 40 meter ski jumping hill was constructed and then the jumping center expanded until 1985.

Together with a biathlon shooting range, cross-country trails and a hotel nearly 100 million US Dollar are invested in winter sports facilities at Chaikovsky. The construction of the biathlon site already started in 2009, in 2010 the ski jumps followed and the facility was completed by fall 2011.
