Folgaria (ITA) confirmed as host of the 2026 FIS Snowboard Alpine Junior World Championships

The FIS is pleased to confirm that Folgaria (ITA) will host the 2026 FIS Snowboard Alpine Junior World Championships, taking place from 25th to 29th March 2026.

Located in the Trentino region of northern Italy, Folgaria is a well-known winter sports destination, offering a combination of modern facilities and rich alpine tradition. The resort has previously hosted several FIS European Cup races, demonstrating its experience and capability in organizing high-level international competitions.

“We would like to thank FISI and Folgaria for their willingness to support Snowboard Alpine and to host what we are sure will be an incredible event. Folgaria is an experienced organizer, and we are already looking forward to an exciting week of racing next March,” said Peter Krogoll, FIS Race Director and Snowboard Coordinator

The upcoming Junior World Championships will bring together the most promising young athletes in Parallel Giant Slalom, Parallel Slalom, and Mixed Team Parallel events, marking another important milestone in the development of Snowboard Alpine on the international stage.
