In the 2025/26 FIS Snowboard Cross NorAm Cup season, Snowboard Cross once again showcased its strength across North America, bringing together athletes from five nations for nine races across five venues in Canada and the United States.

The tour visited Waterville Valley Resort and Gore Mountain in the United States, alongside Sun Peaks, Horseshoe Resort and Mont-Sainte-Anne in Canada.

Throughout the winter, riders representing Canada, the United States, Korea, Australia and the Czech Republic competed across the circuit. Strong participation levels and competitive fields contributed to an exciting season in both the women’s and men’s competitions.

The depth of the field was further reflected by the presence of athletes born in 2010, underlining the broad age range and depth of competition seen throughout the tour. Several young riders regularly competed alongside established athletes, reinforcing the NorAm Cup’s role in developing emerging Snowboard Cross talent.

The season concluded at Mont-Sainte-Anne, where only days earlier the world’s best Snowboard Cross athletes had competed for the FIS World Cup Crystal Globes on the same course. The prestigious Canadian venue provided a fitting stage for the final NorAm Cup races and the crowning of the season’s overall winners.

On the women’s side, Canada’s Kennedy Justinen secured the overall NorAm Cup title with 500 points. Justinen put together a standout season, collecting four victories and five podium finishes across the nine-race calendar. Fellow Canadian Rose Savard-Ferguson and Madeline Lochte-Bono of the United States completed the final standings podium in second and third place with 375 and 356 points, respectively.

The men’s overall title went to Theodore McLemore of the United States, who finished the season with 540 points. McLemore delivered an impressive campaign, claiming three victories and seven podium finishes while consistently scoring points throughout the season. His performances also included a breakthrough result on the World Cup circuit, where he reached the small final in Erzurum (TUR) and finished fourth. Canada’s Mason Griffin secured second place overall with 400 points, while fellow American Gerry Boden completed the final standings podium in third with 354 points.

Beyond the results, the NorAm Cup continues to play an important role in the development of Snowboard Cross athletes across North America. The circuit provides valuable international racing experience for emerging riders and serves as a key stepping stone toward the FIS World Cup, helping prepare the next generation of athletes for success on the sport’s biggest stage.
