Diogo Carmona is a 27-year-old para snowboarder from Portugal – and this is his story. What started as a new path after a life-changing injury has grown into something much bigger: a way to connect, to learn, and to push limits – on and off the board. In this fourth episode of Athletes' Stories, filmed during the FIS 2024 Para Snowboard Development Camp in Manchester (supported by Citi Bank and Para Sports), Diogo shares what snowboarding means to him – not just as a sport, but as a mindset. From training on snow to bouncing on trampolines at Greystone, Diogo finds joy, challenge, and growth in every moment. "The best snowboarder is the one having the most fun." That’s the philosophy he lives by.
