The Ford Chile Winter Series Visa winter sports circuit is back in full force for 2025, confirming four venues, over 18 days of events, and the participation of 600 high-level competitors, both national and international. This circuit is positioned as one of the most important winter sporting events in the Southern Hemisphere.

The action began on Thursday, July 24th, at El Colorado, where the first four Giant Slalom races of the 2025/26 FIS season took place. More than 160 athletes representing 27 nations competed on the “Condor” slope, located over 3,000 meters above sea level. You can view the full results here.

We have had four great years of the Chile Winter Series, where we have offered racers from Chile and around the world a top-tier stage for international competitions, with high-standard events and great athletes vying for the top spots. Chile is a major player on the winter sports scene, and with this championship, we enhance its standing even more.Stefano Pirola, president of the Chilean Ski and Snowboard Federation.

Jorge Mandrú, a former Olympic athlete and the competition director, maintains that “the combination of high-standard experiences for the athletes, the stunning scenery of our mountain range, and the best competitors in the world offers us an unparalleled and unique cocktail in this part of the planet.”

The ski resorts that will host this traveling event are:

El Colorado: Where the action and excitement of Alpine Skiing kicked off the season.

La Parva: The setting for Alpine Skiing with a new edition of the Grand Prix La Parva speed event (South American Cup).

Corralco: The slopes of the Lonquimay Volcano will host the South American Cup Speed Finals in Snowboard and Ski Cross, where four athletes compete simultaneously on the same course.

Antillanca: Where the grand finale of the circuit will be held with FIS races.

The circuit will feature five Olympic disciplines and expects to draw athletes from over 32 nations seeking to earn valuable points for the world circuit and toward qualification for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
