Spectacular weather and a star-studded field highlighted the 20th edition of the Verbier High Five on Saturday, 6th April 2019 in Switzerland. The competition, which includes World Cup regulars, amateurs, and even casual fans, consists of four legs: giant slalom, ski cross, mini kl (launched kilometer), and waterslide. The end of season event also boasts concerts, a DJ, and entertainment and food stands in the finish area.

This year, spectators looked forward to the performances of some big names like Daniel Yule, Tina Weirather, Adrien Theaux, Mauro Caviezel, Estelle Alphand, Luc Alphand, Didier Défago, Fanny Smith, and Sanna Luedi. The concluding ski cross heats determined the champions of 2019. World Cup ski cross star Luedi claimed the women's race ahead of Zoé  Chastan and Charlene Genolet. This season's ski cross Crystal Globe winner, Fanny Smith, finished in fourth.

In the men's event, ski cross specialist Alex Fiva won his third title after beating out last season's winner Theaux. Marco Reymond snagged the final podium spot ahead of Didier Défago, who had to settle for the wooden spoon in fourth place. Slalom stars Yule and Clément Noel showed their pond-skimming prowess by tackling the waterslide on monoskis much to the delight of their fellow competitors and the crowd.

All agreed it was a fantastic finish to the competition season in Verbier!
