Relive one of Anna Veith’s most exciting victory in Meribel finals

By popular demand, after the retirement of one of the greatest skiers of recent years and a champion who has marked an era, we decided to go live on Friday 5th of June 2020 at 12.00 pm CET with one of the most exciting battles that women’s ski racing have ever had.
The overall and Giant Slalom titles would go to the last run of the last race of 2014/15 season: the Giant Slalom in Meribel where Anna Veith was then trailing Maze by 18 points in the overall and had an 86-point lead over teammate Eva Maria Brem in the GS standings. Anna Veith took an outstanding win and with it the Giant Slalom and Overall titles, holding the audience with bated breath until she crossed the finish line.
