The FIS Cross-Country World Cup family is preparing for the final World Cup stages in Québec (CAN), Minneapolis (USA) and Canmore (CAN) which are currently planned to take place as scheduled.

Due to the situation and the continued spread of the Covid-19 virus, FIS Cross-Country staff is closely observing the development and remains in constant contact with the Canadian and American LOC’s, Nordiq Canada and US Ski & Snowboard to evaluate the situation.

The health and welfare of the athletes and all other participants, as well as the general public are in the forefront and the priority of FIS and all our stakeholders. Guidelines have been set up in cooperation with the FIS Medical committee that provide guidance for organizers and teams. With the World Cup season continuing, actions taken to preserve the health and safety of the teams, volunteers and public around the events remain the highest priority.

For all decisions about changing the current competition schedule, FIS will fully comply with the instructions and decisions of the involved Governments and their Health Authorities.

Should any changes to the calendar be necessary due to new measures put in place, they will be announced as any decisions are made.

The FIS Cross-Country World Cup team would like to thank everybody involved for their dedicated work so far in this difficult situation.
