With a grand total of 20 athletes, the Finnish Ski Federation has officially announced the A-Team for the upcoming season 2022/23.

With the great successes of the Niskanen siblings in the past winter season, the Finns are hoping to connect the great experienced made with further successes at the FIS World Ski Championships in Planica in February 2022.

Together with the same team of coaches and service staff, Teemu Pasanen, head coach of the national team, sets the focus for this summers training season in preparing specific programs for Sprint athletes and Distance athletes separately.

“On the men's side, new young athletes rose to the World Cup points several times last winter, which is why the group of men is now a bit bigger than before. Last season was a success as a whole, and we will continue to camp in the A-national team very much in the same direction as last season.”Teemu Pasanen
